Employee Benefit Plan Audits

Our firm has extensive experience working with employee benefit plans, and we have worked on a variety of employee benefit plans throughout our 40 year history.  We consider employee benefit plans to be a very important part of our practice, and they are dedicated niche within the firm.  We enjoy working with our many and varied plan sponsors and their HR professionals, accounting staff, and top management.   We place a high value on client relationships, and many clients have been with the firm since inception.

HKP is a member of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Control Center.  A requirement of membership is providing specialized training for all staff working on employee benefit plans.  This enhances both our qualifications as well as the quality of our services.  Continuing education ensures that professional staff are well versed on the Employment Retirement Act of 1974 (ERISA), and the changing laws and standards used by the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor.

At HKP, we have a team based, hands on approach. Senior management is involved in planning, performing, reviewing, and approving all services provided.  Our goal is ensure there is continuity for clients, and that there is always someone that is knowledgeable available when questions arise throughout the year.
